#ELLIESTRONG : Help Ellie Defeat Leukemia

The name Ellie was given to this precious angel because it comes from the name Eleanor which means "God is my light'. She will be 6 years old in April and she is a little warrior. 

On March 14th this beautiful child was diagnosed with Leukemia.  Writing this, as her Aunt, I realize that most of these requests are written in tears; understandably so.  As is this one. Tears of sadness, tears of disbelief, tears of peace and hope.  Disbelief at the diagnosis, the pain of a mother, an aunt, a sister. Peace in watching the faith of so many broaden and prayers exploding as she begins treatment. Hope in the beauty of humanity.  Hope in the grace and Glory of God. 

Her parents, Geoff and Whitney have stood strong. Incredibly so. Ellie has undergone a list of procedures and uncomfortable experiences in a hospital that most children will never experience and she has stayed strong and full of light. She has a little brother, age 3 (Tristan) who will be anxiously waiting his sisters return home when they are able to do so but due to COVID is unable to visit. Geoff, Whitney and Ellie are currently at UNC Chapel hill undergoing several tests/procedures and preparing for treatment.  Please keep praying. Your prayers are being heard and felt. Ellie is a trooper, she is resilient and brave. Ellie is STRONG.  

We have started this page in order to raise money to help with all of the medical bills for the next few years, many upcoming within the next few months. As many of you know, the expenses are endless and dealing with medical bills and finances as your child is undergoing such a fight is daunting. We are SO GRATEFUL for every single contribution. Every single dollar counts. Every single comment, prayer, share. ALL Of it. Updates  will be followed up by Whitney (mama). 

This will be a long journey but there is an army of angels, friends and family behind them. God is still God and God is still Good.  #ELLIESTRONG
