Mom’s Hospital Bills

I hate that it’s come to this. For the past three weeks, my mother has been in and out of the hospital. Unfortunately, she and my stepfather can’t afford the mounting medical costs, and they need help.

I know she’ll kill me for posting this, but—she’s my mother, and she needs help. She can be kind and caring, and tries to help others when she can. Now she’s the one who needs help.

I can’t stand that we are in a place, like so many others, who have to focus more on the business of healthcare, than the business of getting better. Please help me ease their burden, so that she can focus on the right things.
