KC's Recovery Fund

As many of you may already know, I sustained a traumatic brain injury in an accident a year ago and have spent the last twelve months navigating a long, complicated recovery.  I've done everything possible to keep myself afloat, while being unable to work over the last year, but I now find myself in a very desperate situation.  I haven't had any income for three months.  I've had to sell possessions.  I've had to exhaust my savings and my credit to try to make ends meet.  
I am presently in limbo with three different insurance companies regarding this situation, and since I'm at the mercy of the sloths that work for them, any possible settlements currently remain beyond the horizon for now.  I'm still being treated by a few different providers, but thankfully I have recently improved enough to be cleared to return to work on a part-time trial basis and am on the cusp of doing just that.  Unfortunately that will take some time to get going and doesn't help me today.  
Honestly, I am at the end of my rope here.  I can't pay my rent.  I can't pay my bills.  I'm even stressed out about being able to keep enough gas in my car to get myself to work and my appointments.
This is truly the most embarrassing thing I've ever had to do, but I have reached the point of desparation where all I can do is swallow my pride and ask for your help.  Please.  I can't do this on my own anymore.  I need help and I need it today.
And please know that I will be more than happy to pay back any donations I can once I'm stable again.
