Members of Kingdom Connections (KC) will be embarking on their first medical and social impact mission to Ibadan and Lagos, Nigeria, in April 2020.
In Ibadan they will be supporting BEMEL Foundation, a local medical centre, to provide free and affordable health services in the local community. Stories of patients are similar; due to low income, they only seek medical attention once it becomes urgent.
BEMEL’s medical team have requested the following equipment to help them provide better service offerings for their patients:
• An ultrasound scanning machine. • A generator.
The ultrasound machine will help staff monitor babies’ health and development in utero. The generator will ensure the operational running of the centre in the instance of blackouts, which have even occurred during surgery.
Once these aims are met, additional monies raised will go towards procuring medical supplies and equipment required for the operational functioning of the centre.
In Lagos, Kingdom Connections will be working with the social impact project, God Bless Nigeria Mission (GBN). This mission works with vulnerable groups such as prostitutes, area boys and street children, equipping them with key skills for employment and support to overcome emotional difficulties.
We would like to support GBN's missional activities financially by giving them a love seed, to continue the transformational work they do amongst the outcasts in society.
Please help us meet this target to bring these hopes into reality!
