The Problem

According to the World Health Organization, 400 million children under the age of five are regularly subjected to physical or psychological violence by parents, caregivers, and other trusted individuals. In too many cases, abuse, neglect, and household violence remain hidden, with only a fraction of children ever receiving the help they desperately need.

Without intervention, this generational cycle of trauma continues, leading to lifelong mental, emotional, and physical harm. These devastating experiences also create lasting negative impacts on a child’s ability to thrive socially, academically, and professionally.
