Hernandez Family Medical Expenses

Our dear friend and colleague, Jennifer Hernandez, finds herself in a situation none would ever wish for: the illness and terminal prognosis of her beloved husband, Carlos, an Air Force veteran of the Gulf War. Their son, Spencer, is on this difficult road with them, and our wish is that we could all contribute to help them with the intensive medical care Carlos will need while in Hospice. Already, they have taken multiple costly trips to the Houston VA Hospital in the hopes that he would be able to get the transplant that would be lifesaving, and they must now finance the palliative care that is all the medical community can offer at this point. In addition to the medical expenses, Jennifer would like to spend as much time as possible with her husband while she can (along with her son), but after 5 weeks will no longer have any paid leave available to her. Please consider contributing whatever you can to help this sweet family be together as much as possible as long as they can. Carlos is not expected to survive 3 months.
