My name is Kevin Couderc-Dubois, I am 21 years old, and let me tell you my journey. I first obtained a diploma of professional studies in IT support, at the Centre de formation professionnelle des Riverains, before successfully completing my college studies in IT Networking at Collège de Rosemont.Since then, I am the lab administrator at Cisco Montreal for the past 2 years.

In recent years, I have participated in various competitions in the field of information technology (IT). In 2016, I earned my place on Team Canada, winning the gold medal at the Skills Canada National Competition in Moncton.

So I will soon fly to Abu Dhabi, where I will represent Canada at WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017, In the category "IT - Network and systems administration”!

The competition is fierce: candidates from the American, Asian and European countries have a phenomenal budget and resources that

enable them to prepare adequately for WorldSkills.

The funds will be used to:

- Get the best performance conditions: benefit from the expertise and

support of my coach before and during the event

- Participate in the competition between Canada and China, August 14-20 , In Guangzhou

- Allow me to concentrate on my preparation and be freed from financial worries related to transportation (candidate and coach)

Help me, along with Doug and Gabriel, to show the world how we Canadians are leaders when it come to IT, and let’s bring back a medal!
