Future Chivette and daughter to our very own Mel Brown is in need of a new trike! Mel, an amazing Chivette herself, never asks for any help as she is ALWAYS the one giving back!
Piper is 11 years old and just finishing her 6th grade year. She would like to spend most of her summer outside riding bike with her friends; however, like many of us growing up, she has outgown her old bike.

Simply buying a new bike from the store is not necessarily an option in this case. The bike she will need, is over $1650 (not including S/H or tax) as it is an adaptable trike that can help meet her needs. Piper has Hemiplegic Cerebral Palsy due to a stroke when she was an infant. Her right side is affected, so she has trouble with balance, running, fine motor skills, etc., but that doesn't stop her. Her mom claims she never complains and can't count the amount of times she has said "It's ok, mom".
Some COND member heard about the need and reached out to start a flash campaign to raise the funds!
Thank you all for helping Piper to be on the go this summer, and many more to come!
