KIPP Corazón Academy Family Support

At KIPP Corazón Academy, we just opened our doors to our Kindergarten and first grade students and families a few weeks ago in South Gate. The same week that our doors opened, one of our families was impacted by the very real factors of our political environment. The father of one of our students was detained by ICE. He was separated from his family and two children, one of whom is a Kindergartener at KIPP Corazón. We are asking for your support. Your donation will ensure that our student and her family are taken care of financially as they figure out next steps. The money will cover any lingering legal fees and basic needs such as groceries and rent.
