KC Strykowski’s Kidney Transplant Fundraiser

Holly Strykowski is the best nurse and friend. She would do anything for anyone. I have been amazed at the things she does for others, always going above and beyond!

Holly needs our help! Holly has been on a very difficult journey for the past 3 years. KC, her husband, got very sick and ended up in the hospital in 2018. He was given the devastating news he did not have kidney function and would not be able to live without dialysis. Since the diagnosis KC has had over 6 surgeries related to dialysis and kidney failure. KC has always taken pride at being a good provider for his family and was no longer able to work. Dialysis and staying alive became his full time job.

Holly has been working several jobs and trying to be a good mom to their daughter. The strain has worn on her own physical health.

Yesterday they got the call from the University of Utah that KC was matched with a donor for transplant! They were excited but also very stressed due to the financial burden. KC and Holly will have to live in Utah for several weeks. The journey after transplant will be hard and long. Holly won’t be able to work as she will be KC’s full time caregiver.

This family needs help for living and medical expenses. If we could pull together as a community, friends and family it would be much appreciated. Please share or give what you can.
