THIS IS WHAT FRIENDS ARE FOR

On December 19th, Ric Taylor unexpectedly lost consciousness and fell hard on the tile floor at his home. Glenda called 911, and courageously performed CPR while waiting for help to arrive. The impact to Ric's head caused 3 separate brain bleeds.
After weeks of challenges, scares, and the dedication of his family and medical teams, Ric was moved to Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital, in Jacksonville, where Glenda is at his side. He has made remarkable progress but cannot yet sit or walk. He is experiencing both receptive and expressive aphasia, which makes communication difficult.
If you are seeing this appeal, it means your life has been touched by Glenda. She is always there when anyone needs her, helping with grace, poise and no expectation of reciprocation. Her gentle and caring demeanor have been a safe harbor for so many of us. Now it is our turn. Let’s show the Taylors how much we value them during their hour of need.
