Many of our friends and family know that in Januray 2016 we lost a pregnancy.  What some don't know is that is was actually an ectopic pregnancy, meaning the fertilized egg attached and started growing in my fallopian tube.  This caused there to be damage, but how much is impossible to know without surgery. The doctors I have seen dont want to operate and instead have just told me to try again and hope for the best.  That is a scary thought when the chance of another ectopic pregnancy is really high.  At the same time as all of this was happening, I was diagnosed with endometriosis.  This could of been the cause of the ectopic and increases my chance of another even further. This obviously created a lot of fear and I had almost given up on having children.  Fast forward to this year and I discovered a new surgery that has an 80% chance of curing endometriosis.  There are only 25 doctors in the nation that perform this surgery and surprisingly one of them is located in Utah.  I met with him.  He feels very confident that he can cure my endometriosis, reduce my chance of another ectopic and possibly repair the damaged tube. And he is ready to schedule surgery in the next few weeks.  The problem... insurance companies are refusing to cover this surgery as an in network expense and my out of network coverage is really bad.  I am looking at about $5500-$6000 out of pocket, $4500 of this has to be paid before surgery.  If we had time to save it would be possible but this doctor is also relocating out of state in May which would triple the cost.  Anything you could donate would mean the world to us. We really want to be parents but fear the risk without this surgery is too much.
