Kayleigh’s World Of Guinea Pigs is a self funded safe haven for guinea pigs. It started in 2021 because of Kayleigh’s love of piggies and her ambition to be able to give a safe and loving home to as many guinea pigs as she can. Over the last few years lots of piggies have come to live with Kayleigh from all different circumstances, and all have been given a loving, lifelong home. They are provided with a large purpose built enclosure, all the food and veggies they need, together with endless amounts of love and the very best of care. Kayleigh is raising funds at the request of some of her followers on Facebook to assist with the care and treatment needed to nurse back to health a recent rescue of 15 female guinea pigs. These piggies are in very poor condition and were destined to be used for snake food. They are all scared and underweight and some have fungal, respiratory infections or eye conditions. They also have be monitored just in case any are pregnant. Another shed has had to be emptied and turned into an emergency enclosure for them so that they can be quarantined whilst they are brought back to health.
