Kaycee’s Heart Failure Journey

https://youtu.be/qhPpeHknktI My wife Kaycee was diagnosed with stage 3 heart failure in May of this year. The doctors say they don’t know what caused it but could be a virus that attacked her heart and made it weak. She’s 20 years old and we have a 1 year old together. Going through this has been stressful on not only her but our whole family. Kaycee is in and out of the hospital with a hard time breathing and chest pains. She has at least 2 appointments every week and we have to drive 3 hours to and from Rochester NY at least once a month where we have to stay overnight in a hotel for her all day appointments where she has procedures done while our daughter and I sit and wait hoping for the best. Thankfully my job allows me the time off and even though they don’t take from my pay, it’s still difficult for us to pay to go to all of these appointments for her treatment. She is waiting to find out if she will be getting an ICD which is an internal defibrillator to shock her heart if it stops or goes out of rhythm and we will hopefully find out soon if she will be put on the transplant list. Both of which will require a long hospital stay in Rochester where I’ll have to work and take care of our daughter on my own while also driving back and forth to Rochester to see Kaycee. The gas, hotel, food, and everything like that adds up and we would greatly appreciate if you could donate or share this. Any little bit helps so that my wife can get better and see our little girl grow up.
