Kava Lounge SF Phoenix Fund

Dear community,

Our beloved Kava Lounge suffered damages from a significant fire on one of the top floors of the shared building on Tuesday, August 23rd.

Luckily, everyone was safe, and the fire was contained. Unfortunately, the water from the firefighting efforts flooded through the apartments above and significantly damaged the Kava Lounge. The smoke and water damages require the ceilings and walls to be replaced.

This disaster happened as the Kava Lounge reopened after a prolonged closure due to the COVID pandemic. We were so excited to have our favorite community space open and are devastated to have to close again so quickly.

We are reaching out to our community to help support the rebuilding process. The Kava Lounge is a vital community gathering spot for many unique and consciously elevated people. All funds raised will benefit the rebuilding and support the workers who have helped to reopen the Kava Lounge. We hope to complete the repairs as soon as possible.
