Kauffman emergency help fund

Ok here goes...For the first time in my life I need to ask for help from my friends.  I am not happy about it but this is where we are.  Let me give you a little backstory and then I will let you know what is happening with me. 
This all started Dec. 5th.  I thought I was constipated and just in pain from that.  That was a Tuesday or Wednesday, by Friday Erica talked me into going to the Dr.  I went and they did bloodwork and took some xrays.  Everything came back normal so they said maybe this was just the tail end of something viral and thay I should try a bland diet (toast, soup, etc).  I did that for a day and felt better so I went back to eating...bad mistake.  By the next Tuesday I was wrything in agony and screaming my head off. 
Next Erica took me to the ER.  They did a CT scan and found that I had a couple of abcesses on my sigmoid colon. So they had to keep me....for a full week.  So I have diverticulitis and a micro tear in my bowel. I had 2 small abscesses in my sigmoid colon and they pumped me with antibiotics. I was on NPO which means nothing goes in my mouth no food no drink. So IV living for me. I made it through 3 or 4 days of that and they started me back up om clear liquids, then full liquids and finally now a low residue diet (low fiber soft foods).  I am also Diabetic and this diet pretty much conflicts with that so it has been challenging.  

Moving forward...I have to be on this diet for 2 weeks then I can start to get back to normal.  I have no idea what a week long stay in the hospital is going to cost but it can't be cheap.  We are almost to the end of our money and we could sure use some help getting through the next month or two. I am home but I still have very little energy and for sure not enough to print t shirts.  So if you can spare a few bucks and send them our way we really can use the help.  If you cannot spare anything money wise I understand that for sure, but maybe just think about sharing this if that is the case . 

I think most of you know I am not the type to ask for help, but I need it.  People have already stepped up in so many ways it makes me tear up every time I think about it.  2018 has been a strange year, but Team Kauffman will be back and stronger than ever in 2019!!! Thank you all!!!
