Katy's 2018 X-Country Bike Ride

8 years ago, I biked across the country, from my home in Vermont to Seattle. This was in honor of my dad, Bob Blue, who passed away in 2006.  I raised over $11,000 for the MS Society.

Since then, life has been tough.  I've struggled to find work in Vermont. I’m anxious to do another ride to raise more money for MS, but first I need to do a ride for myself.

I’m going to bike down the Atlantic coast, from Bar Harbor to Key West. The maps I’ll need for the trip are $100, and I’ll need supplies. I’m hoping to stay with some friends along the way, but I’ll need to stay at campgrounds and motels, as well. I’ll be riding the same bike I rode to Seattle (my trusty Trek) which is in great shape, and I’ll have my little yellow trailer. I could really use some help with this ride, which is why I have set up this page. Please feel free to spread the word. Thank you for your support of my rides. I have set a lifetime goal to raise $50,000 for the MS Society, and I will do it! You can count on it.  I miss you, Daddy.
