Attorney fund for Mom & Dad's WILL

Donation protected

My father, Joe Sterbenz passed away on (10/17/2017.)  My parents are in a court case being sued by their son in two states, FL/WI, for over 2.5 years, in a very complicated legal case.  I am the youngest in the family, daughter, Katie Spies and always the closest to my parents for the past 15 years and longer.

I am tasked and challenged to hire an attorney in two states right now to place my Dad's WILL into probate.
Both of my parents are residents of Florida, even though they spent only 3 months in FL the past 18 months in WI.

The day my Dad passed, Advocacy of Sheboygan stepped in without any heart or respect to grievance the next day to secure a placement for my mother whom my Dad was her legal guardian. Although I lived temporarily with my parents the past 6 months in WI to assist in both of their care full time. My mother has dementia and my Dad was in  cardiac  care.  At one point they would not allow my mom to even attend her husbands funeral and they have a love story for over 66 years, till the last moment, advocacy gave approval for her to attend, only if I agreed to their terms to assist in my mom's placement.

Advocacy of Sheboygan found a new GP doctor to agree with their agenda and plan to remove her from her beatiful lake home and my loving care so they could move into the bigger assets of control over her estates.

It has been now over 4 weeks my mom is in a nursing home in cold winter state of Sheboygan, WI and her health has been declining with signs and symptoms
I hoped to regain guardianship of my mother,  which is my Dad's wishes and the promise I made to him.

On 12/7/2017, the courts of Sheboygan permanently placed my mother into the hands and guardianship of Advocacy of Sheboygan, who also control my mother's estate. My three x-siblings all agree with this placement and have personally sent letters to the judge, which is almost like bullying from older siblings, to attempt slander of me which is all hear say, as there agendas are clear about another pending litigation.

I have saturated my resources of gifts to my parents in funds this past year monetarily and had not been able to fully work being a full time caretaker for them both, for over 9 mo. this past year. My plan and hope was to hire an immediate attorney in FL to probate my Dad's WILL, which I have done recently and than next I have to hire an attorney ready to begin to probate ancillary WILL in WI. My father's WILL likely go into litigation due to the pending court case and the agendas of my siblings.

Advocacy of Sheboygan has secured all of my parents properties and I hope to become the personal representative and sole beneficiary, of my father’s estate as he stated in his WILL.
There is a pending status deadline for the court case vs his son on 01/09/2018.

Please help in any way you can, as I have fundraised for many causes in my life for charities , chambers of commerce and motorsports, I am at a loss for words, to share how painful this is to write for help, as we all are proud to ask for help, but my Dad was the type of man that represented generousity to many and compassion and he is being stripped of his pride and will. I hope his voice is heard on this one month anniversary and there is some spirit of giving for donations to continue his wishes.

It breaks my heart that she was taken from me in the midst of grieving and that she is alone without a family member present in the state of WI.  These funds will be used to hire & retain attorneys in both states. The funds are requested, as time is of the essence with the court dates fast approaching.

My immediate plan is to retain the right attorney to address all my father's WILL in both states and his wishes. As well as to take Advocacy back to court which is always what my Dad and I discussed with his attorney in WI., months before he passed.

The fees associated with this kind of court challenge will way exceed the requested goal, although it will be the start to begin to the first step for representation.

With gratitude for your support and prayers during these fragile days ahead.
