Katie's Rescue from Saint Thomas

I know it's hard for many to even process the devastation that Hurricane Irma caused. It's affected many of us both physically and emotionally. My best friend, Katie, is stuck in Saint Thomas. There's rioting and looting. 40,000 people are homeless and the population is only 65,000 total. Electricity is out, water contaminated, and homes flattened. The airport is closed. I'm trying to raise money to get this amazing human off of the island. She would have to find a boat (which are few and far between after the storm), get over to Puerto Rico, and catch a plane from there. On top of everything, she works on a boat, so there is no way for her to work in an attempt to raise money on her own. Every penny counts.
