As many of you know, Katie is undergoing chemotherapy for stage 4 ovarian cancer. These photo's are from her first chemo injection. This week she has her 2nd bout with chemo. Prior to that she needs to have a blood transfusion because of her anemia. After the 3rd chemo treatment, she will under go surgury to remove the mass and cancer, which has attached to her ovaries, uterus, liver, diaphram, intestions and stomach.Prior to the diagnosis, Katie was let go from her full time job. She will need financial support to pay her rent, utilities, etc. She is waiting on disability, however, that has not come through. Katie feels the importance of healing in her own apartment and with her son, Alex, by her side. If anyone feels they can help her out with even the smallest donation it would be greatly appriciated.
