Meet Katie (and Isabella). Katie is a cheerful 33- year old single mom to 8-year old Isabella. From the time Isabella was born, Katie's #1 priority was to her daughter. Katie isn't Katie without Isabella, and Isabella isn't Isabella without Katie.
Everyone would agree who know Katie, she cherishes the simple things in life and displays the love for others around her everyday.
One of Katie's proudest accomplishments was beating stage 3 breast cancer in 2016. To celebrate, Katie moved her and Isabella from an apartment to purchasing their first home in what she calls "her dream neighborhood". Katie started a new job, one that allowed her to work from home so she could be there when Isabella came home from school. They both were meeting new friends and making fun plans. Katie's second chance of life was looking great.
On July 13, 2017 exactly a year and a day of celebrating her cancer remission, Katie received horrific news she was not expecting. The cancer had returned. It metasized to her lungs and brain.
During this journey, she has been the epitome of strength. In four short weeks she has undergone full brain radiation, series of test and scans. Even as she is in constant pain throughout her body, Katie manages to keep her sense of humor, optimism and responsibility to Isabella.
Please help all of us help Katie in her 2nd and biggest fight. Your donations will help with medical expenses, household cost and for Isabella. This amazing opportunity will help her continue with the fight of her life!!!
