Katie Kozlowski

My niece, Katie Kozlowski is a vibrant, active and loving almost 16 year old.

While in Minnesota for a family gathering to celebrate her Grandparents 50th (Jim and Kathy Paulsen) wedding anniversary, she had an accident on a golf cart. She sustained multiple skull fractures and has some bleeding in the brain.

They’ve put a drain in her brain to relieve pressure and put a port in her leg to increase the sodium to help reduce pressure around her brain.

If things go well the doctors expect her to be in the ICU for several weeks. She will be intubated for at least 5 more days.

The emotional strain to the Kozlowski family is obviously huge. Needless to say so is the out of pocket costs of the health care involved in such a lengthy road to recovery.

I’m asking you to please help Katie and her family with the financial burden associated with this terrible accident. We are appreciative of anything you can give and are so grateful for the support of our amazing family and friends.
