Katie Cutter and her Daughter Fund

"We're just mom and daughter living a teacher/student life here in Mexico City. Sophie, my daughter, adopted a cat named Sage one year ago as a kitten. Our apartment has major cracks and deep crevices from the Chiapas earthquake last week. After yesterdays Puebla earthquake, the plaster and cement walls have crumbled in the interior rooms. There are gaping holes and cracks in the exterior walls exposing the outside. Our bathroom is a pile of tile and plaster. Furniture is broken and a window is cracked. The walls have also separated from the interior steel beams. I don't know if I'll be able to remove my furniture due to the structural damage. I need another furnished liveable 2 bedroom apartment for me, Sophie, and Sage asap."

This is Katie's account of what damage happened to her apartment and belongings from yesterday's earthquake in Mexico City. Please donate what you can to help her restore her life  for her, her daughter Sophie, and their cat Sage. She is a teacher of children with special needs and gives her most everyday. She has only the few suitcases of what she could carry out of her apartment left. All donations will go to help them get back on their feet in our beloved Mexico City.
