In June of 2017, Kathy Schotta was diagnosed with breast cancer. The type and severity of her tumors warranted chemotherapy and eventual double mastectomy. Then a full year of Herceptin infusions every three weeks.
Kathy is loved by the many people in her life- both personally and professionally. Those who know her appreciate her caring, thoughtful, hard-working, animal-loving, giving spirit.
Kathy has already overcome so many large obstacles; however, many challenges remain.
The costs of her medical bills (doctor copays, prescriptions, extra products, etc.) are adding up quickly. Her husband, Chet, has had to reduce his work load to care for her.
