<div>We are reaching out to you today with an urgent plea for your support of our dear beloved Kathy Robinson and her family. In January 2022, after seeking treatment for severe and persistent stomach pains, Kathy received devasting news from her doctor...she had stage 4 colon cancer. Despite the grim prognosis, with her husband by her side Kathy was determined to fight.

<div>Kathy is only 54 years young. She is a devoted and loving daughter, wife, and mother/step mother of seven children (two of which are currently in high school). She has the most amazing sweet humble spirit, she is generous to a fault, and has spent her entire adult life in service to others. For over 20 years, Kathy devoted her life to caring for others in her profession as a nurse. Prior to her cancer diagnosis, Kathy was preparing to begin an internship as a nurse practitioner but then she received the devasting diagnosis that changed her, and her family’s lives.

<div>Since her initial diagnosis, the cancer has spread to her liver and she has undergone two separate rounds of chemo, had 2 surgeries, has been hospitalized 3 times, and yet she is still fighting! Her most recent PET scans identified more cancer which means she must undergo yet another surgery in a few weeks. Because of the advancement of her illness, Kathy needs constant care, cannot be left alone, and must be transported to and from medical appointments routinely for her treatments. Determined to be by her side and do everything possible to focus on her recovery, Kathy’s devoted husband, Joe, quit his job and is now attending to Kathy and their children full-time.

<div>Kathy’s battle with cancer will be long and hard; and the stress of her medical crisis is made worse by the mounting medical and personal expenses that have now become a financial crisis.

<div>As mentioned earlier, Kathy spent over 20 years caring for others and now the tables have turned, and she must rely on your kindness, generosity, and compassion. Your contributions, no matter the amount, will make a huge difference in alleviating the financial strain and will help ensure Kathy continues to get the best medical care possible. The funds will be used for medical expenses and to help with their home expenditures so that their 2 children who are still in high school can continue focusing on their education with as little disruption as possible given the circumstances.
