Help with Kathy's Funeral Expenses

On Monday, January 8, 2018, at 1:40 p.m. Kathy passed away, peacefully, with family by her side. I
(her sister) will always treasure the last 6 weeks of her life, that I got to be right by her side, helping her. She will be terribly missed. Thank You to everyone who reached out and everyone who donated to help her family during this terribly difficult time.
Unfortunately, when you are sent home on hospice, discussing your funeral plans is a conversation that needs to happen. The costs of this event is a expense that can really be a burden to the family.
This is an update from Kathy's sister, Debby - On November 13, 2017, after several years of battling Fallopian Tube cancer, Kathy left the hospital and went home under the care of Hospice. During her surgery to determine the cause of her small bowel blockage, her Doctor discovered several areas of cancer blocking her intestines. He removed those areas, but after surgery her intestines did not resume function. During that surgery, he also removed several tumors from other locations. He also discovered a peppering of cancer outside of her intestines, as well as her pelvic area. At this point, any cancer treatment would just make her sicker and have no guarantee of maker her better. The focus is now on her quality of life. She plans to be surrounded by family and enjoy the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays. Thank you for all of the prayers and support as Kathy has endured this beast for many years. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers as she goes through her Hospice Journey. I created this fundraiser to help with some of the stress and financial burden that cancer treatment brings. Many thanks to those who have donated!!!!!!
