Kathy Francoeur-Aldape

We all have that one friend or family member that is always smiling and upbeat even when you know the struggles they are going through would be too much for you to handle with the same positive spirit. My cousin, Kathy Francoeur-Aldape, is that person.

What she has endured over the years from a personal standpoint would make most people quit and give up, but not Kathy. She is the kind of person who has helped others both financially and with her time, when she really needed more help, and could not afford to give either.

Cancer has now revisited her a second time in the past two years and God willing after her recent double mastectomy it will not return. Not only does she face the uncertainty of her health, she is now doing so with the reality of losing her house, and soon her job.

There is no amount of money we could raise that could ever show her how special she truly is, and how proud we are of her courage. Our goal is to try to alleviate as much of her burden as we can by raising enough money to get her out from under her house, and to give her a fresh start in a new place.
