Kathwren Jenkins Cancer and Canvas

Friends and family both near and far,

I write to share the news from my Grandparents and ask for us to come together to support them.

My Grandmother, Kathwren Jenkins, our beloved Artist, Art Teacher, and Author was diagnosed with cancer. For the last 42 years, Kathrwen has worked very closely with Gary Jenkins with their Jenkins Art Studio business, and over the last several years she's battled through various health issues. Kathwren has been able to host the international PBS TV art series, teach seminars throughout the USA but the new diagnosis will be the most serious to overcome and on March 17th, she will be having her first surgery.

While there is a plan for the future of her teachings to continue to build the many hearts in the art community, we ask for your help of donations and prayers for the upcoming medical expenses including travel, care facilities, surgery, and treatments.

An now a message from my Grandfather, Artist Gary Jenkins

My wife Kathwren’s presence in the art world helped raise people's

awareness of the painting world with her unique style and teaching ability.

Kathwren will have her Cancer surgery on the 17th of March and I’m asking

all of our followers for your support and for your prayers. I will be doing many

free live demos on Youtube as a way to thank you all for your support not only

for now but also for the many years in the past. I remember when Kathy and

I were nobodys in the art world until you all showed us your love.
