Kathleen's Nicaragua Trip

Hi everyone! My name is Kathleen Reaney and I'm a sophomore at Grand Valley State University. My major is clinical exercise science and I am a pre-med student. This summer, I've been offered the opportunity to spend two weeks in Nicaragua with some of my classmates for a medical internship that would greatly improve my chances of getting into medical school. I have dreamed of being a doctor for as long as I can remember and I can not express how grateful I would be to be able to go on this trip! This program would provide me with the ability to perform house clinics, community health surveys, village triage, and clinics in different areas and towns which is not something I would currently be able to do in the United States.  

An opportunity like this would be extremely beneficial for me; however, I need all the help I can get in order for me to be able to go. I hope you will support my efforts and make a donation-big or small-towards my ISL Nicaragua trip!
