Kathi and Gordon's Irma Recovery

Hurricane Irma and Naples - really all of Florida.  

The story needn't really be told beyond this first line, but we will because family and stories go hand-in-hand.

Both Gordon and Kathi were fortunate, while they were in the path of Hurricane Irma, the flood waters and winds remained relatively kind to their homes. Damage is nothing significant, but the cleanup due to fallen trees and landscaping blown in from across the region is something they will continue to deal with for some time.

Perhaps a more critical loss in this family story is impact of the physical damage and sense of safety to the local economy - which careries the potential of a longer term financial impact for our sister Kathi and the assistance she provides Gordon.

See, Kathi is a real estate agent, and a darn good one. She is creative, caring, knowledgeable and tenacious. If you've seen the homes she has staged or designed, you understand her talents.

But no matter how good her talents or tenacious she is, it will likely be sometime before the real estate market in Naples rebounds from Irma.

For this reason, friends and family are coming together to create this Go Fund Me page for Kathi, and her father Gordon.

So please, feel free to give what you can. Both to Kathi and Gordon, as well as other charities in the area.  A little gift to the region will hopefully help the economy bounce back more quickly, and a gift to Kathi and Gordon will help them bridge that gap.

All funds will be provided to Kathi and Gordon only, which they will use to help to offset living costs, and in so doing, will be spending money in their local region, helping to stimulate other businesses in the area.
