Mitchell Family Homes Lost in Fires

Hi Everyone, On new years eve unfortunately we lost multiple family homes and everything inside to the fires that tragically consumed the south coast of Batemans Bay leaving my family devastated. This was not just a house, but a home to all of us. My mum had lived in this home for over 30 years, my brothers and sister all grew up here. All of the neighbouring kids would play in our front yard until the streets lights came on which was time to go home for dinner. It was a home for many people. Losing these homes and everything inside has left my mum and my family heartbroken, leaving with only a change clothes and a few sentimental belongings due to the unexpected speed and force of the fires. It is difficult to process what has happened not just to us but also to a large number of families from my home town as the fires continue to threaten this community. Any donations to help my family to get the essentials they need to rebuild their life after this tragic disaster would be greatly appreciated from the bottom of my heart.
