Katelynn Ramirez, COVID relief

On 12/18/20 We believe Katelynn (kat) was exposed to someone positive. She was admitted to Dells Childrens on 12/28/20. Kat was an extremely healthy athlete with no underlying medical conditions. She is the first patient at Dells that does not have any per-existing conditions. Mom is out of work and cannot leave the room, dad is home with little brother. All of Moms PTO and vacation time have been exhausted. Any amount will help.  See below symptoms, current status, and more.I am doing my best to get everything updated, but here is what we know.

-Kat has permanent lung damage
-Kat is expected to be a long hauler
-Kat is expected to be in the hospital another 5 or more days.
-Today she is Stable, on 8L 35% high flow oxygen
-She started on remdesivir 1/2/2021
-She has now been enrolled in a study, since they have little information or data on healthy children on Remdesivir.


Symptoms:
-Sore throat
-Headache
-HIGH fever
-Shortness of breath
-Blood clots
-Low heart rate
-No taste or smell
-Body aches
-Fatigue
