I have some exciting news! I will be attending a YWAM (Youth With A Mission)’s Discipleship Training School (DTS) from February 4, 2018 – June 22, 2018, in Sunshine Coast, Australia.
This is a very exciting new chapter in my life and I am so thrilled to be able to share it with you!
A YWAM Discipleship Training School is divided into two parts: Lecture Phase (3 months) and Outreach Phase (2 months). During the lecture phase, I will be at the YWAM base in Australia, where speakers from all over the world come & share their experience and knowledge about who God is and how we can be used to help others throughout the nations. During the outreach phase, our team will go overseas to a cross-cultural location, applying what we’ve learned in the lecture phase. Past outreach phases have been spent in India, Indonesia, Mongolia, Cambodia, Africa & Pacific Islands. The specific location of my DTS outreach has not been determined yet, but I will keep you updated.
In going to this school, I believe it will be time to get me out of my comfort zone, focus on developing more of a foundation in my faith, build my character, learn more about Jesus, and take time to make a difference in this world with no limits.
As this is a completely new and unfamiliar journey for me, I would love to have your support by keeping me in your thoughts & prayers for continued guidance, peace, health & provision.
In order to attend this school, I have to raise a total of $13,350.
To make this dream become a reality, I am in need of sponsorship. Would you consider helping me financially? Whatever amount you decide to give, will help make a difference and be much appreciated.
Breakdown For Costs:
-Application Fee: $41.74
-Enrolment Deposit + Overseas Health Coverage (OSHC): $747.62
-Australian Visa Fee: $563.02
-Lecture Phase Fee (This includes accommodation, food, course costs and ministry transport) : $4,000
-Airfare to Australia (round-trip): $2,500 approx.
-Outreach Airfare: $2,500 approx.
-Remaining Outreach Costs: $3,000
