Hi all,

My name is Kate and I am battling a liver disease.  About two years ago I became very sick. I was in and out of the hospital for months with no answers. After seeing countless specialists, I was finally diagnosed with liver disease. We have tried many treatments, but things have not improved. The doctors have informed us that a liver transplant is the solution so that I may live  a full, healthy life with my family. 

I am a special education teacher,  a devoted mother of two small boys and two energetic dogs, and a caring wife.  Helping and teaching children with special needs is my passion. 

I am looking forward to the day when I am healed, when I can play and care for my boys fully, and can go back to serving my community through education and encouraging our children towards the bright futures they will have!

Due to my illness, I am not able to work and our family is now supported by my husband's income. Our family is very appreciative of the community that continues to support us. We were blessed to receive support  through the Union Bank & Trust "Magic Moment." We would appreciate anything you are willing to contribute to cover the cost of medical bills.
