Katarin to YWAM Salem, Oregon!

Hello! My name is Katarin Lopez and I am from Greenville, SC. This past year has been extremely challenging on the grounds of my faith and direction God was giving me. My whole high school career I knew that I wanted to help people and love on them so I set my mind to be a social worker and attend college; as my senior year progressed so did Gods voice and He opened and closed doors towards my future. I had settled on attending Appalachian State in the fall and seemed to be finally doing what God had intended but I felt no peace on the situation. Until one day I got lunch with my small group leader and we prayed about direction did I accidentally stumble upon Youth With A Mission! I prayed and God brought peace and reasurrance that this is what He wanted, this is how He wants me to use my spiritual gifts and love people, and to use this time to better myself as His vessel. Through YWAM I will be moving to Oregon to be discipled for 3 months and then will be traveling to a foreign country to use that training! Missions was never my plan, but it is God's plan for me and I am so excited to see the outcome of it all! Ifyou feel like helping this financially, THANK YOU!!! Any support helps, really.
