<div>Im Februar 2026 reisen wir nach Sri Lanka, um das Kastrationsprojekt von Paws of Deniyaya zu unterstützen. Die von Chris und Teresa gegründete Organisation hat in den vergangenen fünf Jahren bereits über 1.500 Straßenhunde kastriert und medizinisch versorgt.

<div>In Deniyaya leben sehr viele Straßenhunde, deren Vermehrung ohne regelmäßige Kastrationsprogramme außer Kontrolle gerät. Gemeinsam mit einem Team aus sechs Tierärztinnen und Tierärzten sowie rund 30 freiwilligen Helfern möchten wir in diesem Jahr 800 Hunde kastrieren, impfen und behandeln.

<div>Unser Einsatz ist ehrenamtlich, und wir finanzieren unsere Reise vollständig privat. Das Projekt selbst wird ausschließlich aus eigener Tasche und durch Spenden getragen.

<div>Jeder Beitrag, ob groß oder klein, hilft unmittelbar. Vielleicht möchtest du die Kastration eines Hundes übernehmen oder einen Teil der medizinischen Versorgung finanzieren. Jeder Euro fließt direkt in die Behandlung der Tiere vor Ort.
