Kassidy's Road to Healing

Our friend Kassidy has been in the hospital since January 29 with Ulcerative Colitis that was misdiagnosed and untreated since July of 2017. She's 19 years old and was holding down 4 jobs prior to being admitted into the hospital. She was working hard to pay for previous medical bills, and save up for school. The donated funds will go directly to her previous and current medical bills, and her education. Her previous medical bills are around $6,000, and ongoing treatment will cost her around $25,000. Due to her being in the hospital for the past 4 weeks, she has been unable to work, and all money she has saved up has been used to pay bills. The funds raised here will be used as soon as possible, and any monitory amount will be greatly appreciated.

Kassidy gave her life to Jesus about a year ago.  She has mentioned that this time in the hospital has allowed her to get closer to God.  She is convinced that this time in the hospital has been for all of the nurses, doctors, and volunteers that she has been able to pray with since being admitted.  God has showed her that resting in Him is the only way to true healing and restoration.

As we mentioned earlier, Kassidy was working 4 jobs before entering into the hospital.  She is a woman of integrity, a person of her word, always early to work and one of the hardest workers we know.  She is kind hearted and always puts others before herself.  No matter what circumstances life hands her, her spirits are always positive, knowing that someone always has it worse than her.  It's hard to see someone so loving be inflicted with this auto immune disease.
