Kasey and Erin's Big Move

For the past 5 1/2 years, due to a variety of unfortunate circumstances, my wife and I have been taking over a room in my gracious parents' home. The situation is not the best for either party, and we've been trying to find a solution that would get us our own place and my parents their freedom back. After years of struggle and failed ideas and plans, a chance has come. Our dear friend Cary and his brother have invited us to live them and have offered to help Erin get a job in her area of study, answering several of our prayers and giving us an immediate goal to focus on. The catch is, they live in Michigan, and we'll have to uproot what lives we had here and make the move.

Cross country moving is not cheap, and what little money we had has been used for various recent medical expenses. We had applied for a few loans in order to cover this expense, but were flatly turned down in every instance due to the weight of our current student loans, despite good credit. Which is where this Fundraiser comes in.

Our aim with this campaign is to pay for the move, help us get started on furniture, and help cover expenses such as gas, lodging during the trip, replacement IDs, vehicle title fees, and so on.

A Lowes store in the area has agreed to transfer me, so I have a job on standby, we have a network of friends and support in place, and better opportunities all around await us. As such, we are looking to make the move within the next two weeks.

This is rather sudden, and it is difficult to ask for help in this kind of situation, but we need it. We would be eternally grateful for any and all help anyone is willing to give. You would be helping get us to a better place, with better chances at life , and helping my parents get their house back.
