Karter’s brain and spinal surgery in New York

As a lot of you know, Karter has Chiari Malformation type1. He underwent brain surgery last January 2022 and it’s failed. Since then, we’ve learned that the syrinx on his spinal has returned and become very aggressive…it’s is about to start taking over his little body. He’s needing another surgery fast. We’ve met with his neurosurgeon here in alabama but he’s not confident that he could do the surgery needing to be preformed. We reached out to a Chiari specialist in New York and have set a surgery date for March 8th. With that being said..we will be up there for 13 days!!! This is going to be a very expensive trip and we will have to fly and fund hotel stay. We completely understand that not everyone can donate, but just a simple prayer for our little boys health and safety is more than we could ask for!!! This is by far the scariest thing we’ve ever been faced with and it’s with a broken heart that we are even having to ask for help. We are just trying to get the best help for our sweet baby!
