Support for Karter and Gail-Ann

My 7 month-old grandson, Karter, was diagnosed in July of this year with microcephaly and developmental delay of unclear cause. An MRI determined that Karter's brain is not developing properly and will result in challenges learning to walk, talk and have a normal childhood.

Just two weeks prior to Karter's diagnosis, Karter's mom (my daughter), Gail-Ann suffered a stroke at age 32. Gail-Ann is working through her own recovery and therapy and has been unable to work since the stroke.

As medical teams work to determine the cause and treatment to allow Karter to thrive and reach his full potential, medical bills are mounting.
