Karolina's Fight Against Cancer

Karolina is a 31 year old, amazing mother who is fighting for her life, and needs our help.
On January 28th 2017 Karolina was diagnosed with Melanoma.
She was 30 and the mother of a beautiful 6 year old girl. After 12 months of chemo and immunotherapy they were hopeful of a positive outcome. From the surface it looked like there was improvement, and after nearly a year of struggling It looked like there was some light at the end of a year of darkness. Her partner (& father to her daughter) proposed and they set a wedding date of March 6th 2018.
In December 2017, after experiencing severe stomach pain and losing the drive to eat, she had a scan and they discovered a malignant tumour on her liver. Urgent surgery was undergone, and a quarter of her liver was removed.
She is continuing to have a more aggressive form of chemo which is leaving her unbelievably ill.
She has now had to indefinitely postpone the wedding, and ringing in her ears are the words of her oncologist who told her 'that 95% of patients in (her) position do not live more than 5 years'.
She has been advised that she is too ill to work, which in itself is causing her stress as she has worked solidly her entire adult life. She is an honest woman with an extremely strong work ethic, but right now she and her family are struggling.
Her partner is a self employed handyman, who is willing and able to do anything around the home from garden/outdoor work to painting and indoor work.
They have rent to pay, bills and a gorgeous wee girl who is their main priority.
I have created this page in the hope that anyone who has anything extra might be able to contribute.
I have set a target of £10k as I am hoping this would cover 6 months of rent and bills and help to take the pressure off them as a family. But really anything would be a help.
Karolina is the type of person who helps people, and has never been good at asking for help herself. I have convinced her that now is the time for her to lean on others.
As her oncologist tells her at every visit, stress feeds cancer - and right now she is knee deep in it. She has even considered postponing her chemo and going back to work, the comfort of her daughter being her main concern.
Please, if anyone has anything they can spare to help them out, this family would be eternally grateful. A few pounds can quickly add up. Alternatively, if anyone requires a handyman to do any work through South East London, please get in touch and I will pass on her partners details.
As her daughter is her main focus, Karolina does ask that her health is not discussed in front of her, or her peers. She has done a phenomenal job shielding her wee girl from the horrors of this illness, and would like to continue this for as long as is possible.
