ENGLISH

There exists a little place in Seville where students from all over the world come to move, breath and connect with themselves and with each other. Here they learn the ancient discipline of Yoga and the modern techniques of Yamuna Body Rolling. It is a place of self-exploration and education where the guidance is clear, the practice is serious and laughter comes easily.

The head of this little center is Michelle Goodrick who is teacher, student, artist, and occasional psychologist as well as expert in knots, blocks, belts, blankets and chairs. Years ago she left the world of academia and global couch surfing to share her knowledge about health and wellbeing under the arch and title of Karmuka Yoga .

Today, due to the events and isolation measures surrounding COVID-19, this small and independently run Yoga center finds itself stranded and needing help. Just a bit of support from you will enable the center to stay open and provide the necessary space for students to continue coming together to enjoy a full and in depth Yoga practice that is so much more than just a workout. It is a work IN.

Students familiar with the center know what a difference it makes to have a rope to hang from, a ball to roll on, a blanket to sit on or a chair to twist in. Michelle’s expertise and support empowers students to access that place of internal stability, freedom, connection and community  that every Karmuka Yoga practice aims to offer.

With your help Karmuka Yoga can continue offering a space where this supportive and inclusive practice can take place.

I am deeply grateful for any support you can give to keep this dream alive and the Karmuka Yoga Center open.
