<div>I'm looking to Raise $5,000 to set-up a team. We will try to join the <strong>Saint John Little League</strong>. If it's too complicated and troublesome, then we'll just do our own thing for kids who don't have a spot at SJLL.

<div>I don't know the exact age group, but based on my experience as a summer councilor with B&amp;G Club, I think age 6-7 and 8-9 is best. This team will be considered "<strong>non-competitive level</strong>", meaning, having fun and meeting friends is more important than winning and being a top athlete.

<div>If baseball is too dangerous or difficult, then we'll switch to <strong>Soccer-Baseball</strong> and maybe start a league for that instead.

<div>Baseball has a low cost to entry. South End has over 50% child poverty. The money will be prioritized for basic equipment: Gloves, balls, bats, shoes, bases.
