Karliah's help fund.

Donation protected
Karliah was born on Jan 6th 2017 as a seemingly healthy and normal 8 pound 4 ounce beautiful little girl to Caitrin Barker and Sean McCormick. From the beginning she seemed to be fighting a cold or virus, but was sent home after a few days of recieving antibiotics and was given a small oxygen tank to take home with her. On Friday the 20th, her parents knew that something wasn't right, and took her to the hospital. The hospital recognized that there was something seriously wrong and immediately evacuated her to the Children's Hospital in Aurora. Immediately after arrival Karliah stopped breathing and had to be intubated and put on a breathing machine. From there things went south quickly, her liver began to fail, and her blood wouldn't clot. She is at this point fighting for her life against what is called infection associated HLH, an immuno diffeciency disorder. This tragedy has put Caitrin and Sean under tremendous strain emotionally and financially. The goal of this page is to create an emergency fund that will at the very least take finances off the list of things they need to worry about. Any help would be tremendously appreciated. Thank you all, and may Karliah win this battle and have a happy life with her family.
