Karla Rhoads

Many of you know Karla as a member of the Peace Lutheran Church community in Philomath, Oregon.  Karla is scheduled to undergo a very difficult medical procedure on January 12th and Stanford Medical Center in Palo Alto, California.  Karla's surgical team will be replacing a prosthetic aortic arch.  The aortic arch is the main blood supply to the upper portion of our body.  Karla will be hospitalized for at least ten days and will face a long and difficult recovery.  However, in God's mercy we are confident that Karla will do fantastic through all that she faces.  There will be significant expense as a result of the procedure; and Karla and her husband will also need to find lodging for their time in Palo Alto.   If you should feel led to give, this will be a beautiful way for many of us to help Karla in her time of need.  On Karla's behalf, we thank you!
