On Christmas Eve 2018, Karia Snowden was sent to get an MRI and
before she could even get home from the test, the Dr called with the
news that she had a brain tumor.
Over the course of the last few months, her family has been fighting to get a diagnosis and a plan of treatment. Her parents have not been able to work and their sick leave and FMLA are gone. Her mother, Sherie has spent countless hours on the phone with medical professionals trying to get things set up for Karia. It is a fulltime job. Karia has been diagnosed with a stage 2 glioma brain tumor and the road to recovery is going to be a long one. She has had a biospy and is now awaiting surgery to remove the tumor. Chemo and radiation are not an option. This family is the most giving family you could ever meet! Now they need our help! Any donations will go directly to Karia's family for help with Medical bills, travel, and day to day expenses since they don't have any money coming in at the moment. Please give generously.
