Kari Austin's Medical Expense Fund

Kari Austin is a preschool teacher in Stowe Vermont. She is kind, loving, compassionate, funny, caring and extremely nuturing.  Kari is an amazing mother, friend & teacher. Kari is the most giving person, and will bend over backwards to assure those around her feel loved, supported and have all their needs met.

Kari suffered from a stroke while at work which paralized the right side of her body. She spent a week in ICU and then moved into a regular hospital room for a couple nights, and is now in a rehab center. Kari is focused on learning how to walk again, and learning how to move her right side of her body which was left paralized after her stroke.  Movement is slowly returning, however it is unknown how long it will take until a full recovery is made. Kari is living on a single fixed income, which is much lower currently due to her inability to work.  She is concerned about how to pay for her home and medical expenses during this time.  Time will tell how long this healing process may take, however in the mean time she is leaning on support from those around her to cheer her up and help her see the bright side. Any amount donated would benefit her significanly and is greatly appreciated.
