Karen is an amazing mom, wife, granni, mentor and friend. She has lived her life being a blessing to others and making a positive impact on everyone with whom she has contact.
In October 2011, Karen was diagnosed with stage 4 Adenocarcinoma that had spread to her bones. Because of God's grace, her faith, positive attitude, and amazing medical team (and a little radiation here and there), Karen is still living nearly four years later.
Unfortunately, we recently found out that her cancer is beginning to progress very rapidly. Instead of focusing on this news, Karen chose to focus on how she plans to LIVE during this time. Karen's only wish today is to travel and take her grandchildren on a trip to see things they've never seen before. She wants to create a lasting memory for them and see a new experience through their eyes.
We are asking for donations to help make this happen. We know that we have an amazing and supportive network of family and friends. Thank you all in advance for being a blessing to our family and may God continue to pour blessings into your life.
