Karen's Tragic Story

Karen was a happy, healthy, active typical Colorado woman.  She walked every day with her two dogs 
(Gus and Bertie ), river rafted, telemark skied, loved all the beauty that southwest Colorado has to offer..  Untill one day.......when she fell off a ladder in her own home and hit her head on a tile floor. She suffered a TBI
( traumatic brain injury) and all that comes with that. Two and a half weeks in ICU in a coma, unable to walk or talk.  Here it is two years later and she still has no use of her left leg or arm. She does pretty good getting around in a wheelchair.  She has regained a lot of movement, but still struggles with walking and remembering.  She is in a rehabilitation hospital here in Colorado, but aches to have her own home ,and get her dogs back.  Please help her find a dog-friendly home , that is also handicapped equipt.   The area which she lives in is very expensive, but she loves the area, and the four seasons and wants to stay. She has lived there for the past 39 years, and really loves the town. The Doctors will not give any time of recouperation, they all say just be patient, it takes time!  Please help her find the perfect home.
