My mom has always been a worrier. From the young age of 10 I remember the strict rules around the house. No playing in the front yard because of all the "what ifs" and the sound of sirens would cause anxiety. Because of a familiar history of cancer, she had routine mammograms every year. This year was no different. However this year they found something.
CANCER
After an additional mammogram, an ultrasound, and biopsy results, she has been diagnosed with Invasive Lobular Carcinoma. This alone is scary, tragic, and shocking, but with the addition of worry of how the bills will be paid is just one thing we want help with. WE NEED HELP WITH.
My mom is on a limited, fixed income and already with the cost of MRI's and hospital visits she is looking at over $500. I do not want the cost of treatment to be an additional stress to this already difficult time in my mom's life.
